ELEDLights is proud to announce its sponsorship of driver Billy Johnson of Ford Chip Ganassi Racing for this year's FIA World Endurance Championship. When Johnson gets behind the wheel of the new red, white, and blue, No. 66 Ford GT, the ELEDLights logo will adorn his helmet and racing suit.

The third race of the WEC season, the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, held June 18-19 in Le Mans, France, has special significance for Ford, as it marks the 50th Anniversary of Ford's historic win there in 1966. It just so happens that ELEDLights' parent company, Manncorp, was established that very same year by CEO Henry Mann, making sponsorship of the Ford team at this year's race especially meaningful to both companies.

A life-long racing fan, auto enthusiast, and collector, Henry Mann has been closely following the Ford GT program since its surprise unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show last year. When it was announced that the GT was returning to Le Mans for the first time since 1968, he was particularly excited. "I remember when the GT40 won the '66 Le Mans and how fierce the competition was between Ford and Ferrari," Mann recalls. "It was a time of great pride in U.S. manufacturing and technology and an especially exciting time to be a young man starting a new business in the electronics industry."

"Le Mans is unique in that 85% of the race is run at full throttle for a full 24 hours—pretty much the same way I've always liked to run my businesses," jokes Mann. "Like Ford, ELEDLights and Manncorp strive for the very best in leading-edge technology and innovation, so we are extremely thrilled to be supporters of Ford Racing and the GT's return to Le Mans."
